Tan, Chung Lee, 1949-

Finland. History, character and Everyday life of its people.

I am grateful to this author for writing this book interestingly, factually and engagingly. With photos on every page practically. And on good quality glassy white thick paper. I am still reading it and enjoying the process. Thank you, Mr. Chung Lee Tan !

Steel, Danielle,

The wedding planner.

A very good novel. Easy to read, enjoyable and hard to put down.

Steel, Danielle

Worthy opponents...or Opposites attract.

A light, easy to read novel. As always, heroine's history is slightly unimaginable, but suits the plot. Her grandparents loved her, with abundance, but her parents didn't want any children at first, at all, then changed their mind and wanted a boy without any consideration for having a girl, and when the latter came into the world, they named Her Spencer...It's a good novel, and I liked it. It reminded me very much of Danielle Steel's best (to my view) novel "The House". Only here, Spencer tries to save her Heritage-a small, but vintage department store of great success and appreciative clientele.... Some grammatical and editorial errors present, unfortunately.

THE SMARTEST YOUTH of the WORLD.

This work is the beginning for a very needed discussion about education of children and youth in the US. And foremost importance of teaching passionate, talented and devoted pedagogues to teach in our schools on all levels of education: from 4-years old children to college students. A good teacher is a very rare Find, just like a doctor or a maestro... Learning to become one is a long process. It requires the desire to be a teacher, great deal of Talent and hard work...To become a well-rounded, knowledgeable pedagogue that is passionate to pass her/his art to her students to want to know the world around them. The author here often does some political arguments, which are not needed, while simple history examples would be enough. The writing has some grammatical errors as well, unfortunately. No photos and no author's personal history offered. I do not recommend this book to others. It was not exiting for me, as I hope it would be.

The smartest youth in the world....

It's a good beginning of discussion about Education and Educators in USA and Europe and some Asian countries. It needs to be much more rigorous and deep. History of USA, it's founding and its base consisting of Immigrants, first-good working honest people and later on highly educated people from Europe, Australia and Russia made a wonderful core of knowledge for the States. Even though, some severe disagreements sparred. On the basis of race and poverty. Now, in late 2020s , the immigration had changed to much-much different: coming people are low-educated, many-without right to work here and without desire to bring goodness of the hard honest work to US. And of course, European countries, will always be ahead in every area of business and in Education. They're smaller and much more One-nationality places, where it's so much easier to make great progress and to follow it, able to change things around and to analyse them. Personally and in charts and numbers. And see individual people, their work, education and effort to give same to their youth !
